I’m an Indian MBA exchange student at Toulouse Business School, currently studying and exploring Europe. Beyond my academic work, I dedicate a significant amount of my free time to traveling across various European cities, seeking new experiences and understanding different cultures.
On my Eurotrip, I wanted to push the boundaries of traditional travel planning by leveraging cutting-edge technology, specifically AI tools and online platforms, to help shape my journey. Tools like ChatGPT, Google, Instagram Reels, and Google Maps became my travel companions, guiding everything from selecting destinations to curating daily itineraries, suggesting activities, and even providing dining recommendations. Curious about how well these algorithms could replicate the expert insights of traditional guidebooks, I decided to put them to the test in real life.
Each post on this blog showcases my travel decisions, comparing what AI suggested versus how it played out in the real world. I aim to share honest, firsthand experiences, highlighting the wins, misses, and unexpected moments that these AI-driven tools produced.
The goal is to offer readers a transparent look at how technology influences modern travel and whether it can really match the authenticity of human recommendations. Through this process, I hope to uncover new ways to merge technology with travel, providing valuable insights for fellow explorers interested in using AI to enhance their own adventures.
